Program Details

Program Overview

With the employer focus on cost containment, how do we ensure that our program designs and resolutions of individuals' escalated issues meet the fundamental principles of ethical behavior? Ensuring compliance with governmental regulations is a good start, but is it enough? Do the employers with which you work suffer from periodic bouts of "managerial mischief?" In this session, you will learn how to coach employers through a framework for ethical decision making. The CRCC and CDMS Codes of Ethics will be used in the presentation.

Speaker

Maria Henderson, MS, CRC, CDMS, CCM

A leader in workforce productivity initiatives for employer-based health and disability management, Maria possesses over 19 years of progressive experience managing workers' compensation, short/long term disability, disability pension, transitional work programs, EAP, FMLA/ADA compliance and clinical case managment for Fortune 500 companies such as GE and Qwest. She is highly involved in professional associations critical to her field. She is currently a commissioner for the CDMSC and is serving for the third year as a project sponsor for the NBGH's EMPAQ Project. She was the 2004 Denver Chapter Contact and International Committee Chair for the DMEC and is a past president of IARP.

Accessibility

The Standard building is an accessible, barrier free location. If special accommodations are required, please indicate your needs on the registration form.

Note: It is CRCC, CDMSC, CCMC's philosophical belief that all programs must be held in an accessible, barrier free location so that no one with a disability is excluded from participation. Furthermore, CRCC, CDMSC, CCMC strongly encourages all programs to comply with relevant federal, state, and local laws related to serving people with disabilities.
