This session will address the general issue of transferability and employability. Dr. Field and Mr. Funk will present methods of conducting transferable skills analysis discussed in The Transitional Classification of Jobs, which was written by Dr. Timothy F. Field and Janet E. Field. The traditional TSA method using the DOT will be presented along with a second method that outlines an approach using both the DOT and a greater emphasis on the O*NET data resources

1:00 3:00 Ethics in Testimony Dr. Timothy Field
Dr. Field, literally, has published several works specifically dealing with testimony, and in this session he will focus particularly on ethical considerations related to testimony.
Dr. Field has been an author, consultant, educator and vocational expert within the public and private rehabilitation sectors since joining the faculty at the University of Georgia in 1972. Dr. Field is the co-developer of VDARE which is considered a foundation for transferabilty assessment tools in use today. He is one of our most prolific authors, having written on a wide range of rehabilitation topics. Over the last 15 years, Dr. Field has conducted over 350 seminars to rehabilitation professionals on the topics of job analysis, transferable work skills, loss of employability and lost earning capacity.
