by Fedor Alvarado

Among the useful benefits you receive by being member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) are: enjoying voting rights and eligibility to run for office, automatic membership in 1 special interest section and eligibility to join additional sections, professional listing in the national directory (which is also on the web), group rates on professional liability insurance, a copy of the Rehabilitation Professional magazine and journal, and professional member discounts on nationally- sponsored conferences, seminars and other business services.

Membership in our chapter (Oregon Association of Rehabilitation Professionals - OARP) offers a great way to establish active relationships with your peers in the private and public sectors. Other attractive benefits include the opportunity to make new business contacts, earn valuable continuing education credits at reduced rates, receive the chapter newsletters and directory, participate in state board and committees, active lobbying and peer review at the state level, and interactions with other state-level organizations.
